We are an organization made up of like-minded people, and we do our best to surround ourselves with like-minded organizations.
Below you’ll find a list of our current partners. Some of our partners are directly related to WEC: some are managed or staffed by our board members. Others are organizations that work closely with WEC to help ensure the success of our mission.
PARO
The PARO centre for Women’s Enterprise is a business support and networking organization operating out of Northern Ontario.
They offer help to women as they start or grow their small businesses, through peer support and and business services. They also create workspaces and host community events.
Common Thread
Common Thread COOP is a social enterprise that seeks to provide community employment, focusing on newcomers to Canada and those suffering with mental illnesses.
They operate out of Vancouver, B.C., and have a strong community of members and organizations that take part in such projects as recycling community banners into tote bags.
Collective Interchange Cooperative
This project is very new. In fact, it’s so new it doesn’t have much of a web presence yet. Stay tuned to learn more about the Collective Interchange Cooperative.
JK Associates: Solutions for Nonprofits
Based out of Ottawa, Canada, JK Associates is a team of strategic thinkers and creative planners that work closely with charities and nonprofits to help them work through problems and achieve their goals.
They help with such things as training programs, research and fundraising initiatives, and can aid with project management and execution.
Wintranslation
wintranslation™ is a women-owned and operated business that helps connect people. Thanks to our devoted crew, we take projects and ideas and make them go big. We define our partners’ and clients’ translation needs and take care of each and every one of them by bringing together our expertise in translation, project management, desktop publishing and localization engineering. The wintranslation team loves to give back, and continues to help support both local and global non-profits and community organizations. We support the invaluable work and values spread by organizations such as the Women’s Economic Council. We love to see great ideas spread, and are here to make sure language is never a barrier!
