Co-manager in the National Capital Region
Janet is passionate about women’s economic empowerment and for over 25 years has been working with community organizations and governments to create more opportunities for women’s advancement and economic prosperity. She is an experienced project manager, researcher, fund developer and nonprofit team builder. Born into an immigrant family in the UK, and an immigrant herself to Canada, Janet has worked for many years on economic empowerment with immigrant women, especially in Ontario. As WEC’s Co-manager in the National Capital Region, she is delighted to be working with local communities in Ontario and Quebec.
