About the session:
This workshop is for any business owner, whether experienced or novice, who needs to kick‐start their sales strategy. Participants will look at their sales practices and how their daily activities impact overall results. They will do this by identifying the most effective networking activities for them, determining which activities they need to focus their energy on and learning to ask focused questions to close more sales.
About the presenter:
Alpana Sharma Ph.D. is the Export Business Advisor with Women’s Enterprise Centre. She works directly with women business owners to provide one-on-one complimentary business guidance. Innovative and entrepreneurial, Alpana has operated her own import business successfully for several years. She is a Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) professional and supports clients who plan to export or import and grow their business internationally.
To be eligible for participation, your immigration status should be one of the following:
- Permanent Resident (PR status).
- Individuals with PR Status pending (have received a letter from IRCC indicating selection to become PR).
- Refugee and protected person.
- Temporary foreign worker approved under the previous Live-in Caregiver program.
