As a first step to develop a strategy for immigrant and refugee women, WEC held focus groups to identify the key barriers to their economic security. This report addresses the barriers facing immigrant and refugee women; we are also developing a separate project related to Aboriginal women.

This report summarizes the findings of those focus groups and is designed to support WEC’s ongoing dialogue with our community partners and stakeholders, with the goal of identifying potential strategies to advance the economic security of immigrant and refugee women. Read more
