In 2010, WEC developed two advisory committees to live our value of being sector-driven and sector-responsive. The purpose of the committees is to provide input to WEC operations.
Sector Support Advisory Committee
Mandate
WEC Sector Support Advisory Committee provides input to WEC operations by sharing experience and expertise about (i) women’s lived realities, (ii) capacity-building priorities of women-centred CED organizations, and (iii) emerging and priority issues such as leadership succession planning, social enterprise sustainability, etc.
